Design and Project Estimation Services.

We can assist you with planning the layout, selecting the appropriate TEK-DEK components and estimating the costs.

We can provide an approximate materials cost per sqft if you can tell us the approximate area. If that figure is within your budget, then we can provide a comprehensive service which includes deck layouts for TEK-DEK, materials estimates, tailored installation instructions and telephone and/or email support throughout your project. We offer this as a free value added service on the basis that you purchase the materials from us. If you elect to cancel placing an order with us, or use the layouts and estimates for purchases from other suppliers, you agree that you will pay our invoice for US$120.00 immediately upon receipt by you. For complex decks with many deck fittings, hatches and/or numerous separate panels of decks, we may request an additional fee for the incremental time required to draw the layout and develop the bill of materials. 

Typically, customers will send us via email,

• An overhead view of the deck (e.g. hand drawn sketch, copy of a brochure or actual plans)
• Digital pictures of the overall deck, plus close-ups of areas needing particular attention (e.g. deck fittings, toe-rails, coach-roof-to-deck molding, hatches, etc..)
• Key dimensions needed to calculate areas and determine perimeters for each type of border/margin needed for toe rails, coamings, coach-roof, hatches etc...

Using this information and our CAD system, we can draw a layout the deck and provide a bill of materials and installation estimate.
